Shiv Sena Member of Parliament, Hemant Godse, encountered a harrowing incident as his car was severely damaged in a major accident in New Delhi on Monday morning. The mishap occurred after Godse attended an event in Parliament to pay homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

While returning home, the accident transpired on BD Marg in Delhi when Godse's Innova car was hit from behind by an Artica vehicle. Despite the extensive damage to his car, fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. The incident unfolded as Godse attempted to overtake another vehicle, resulting in a loss of control and a significant collision.

Representing the Nashik constituency of Maharashtra, Hemant Godse, a Shiv Sena member, had visited New Delhi for the program honoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue in Parliament. The accident took place during his return journey. Godse's car sustained substantial damage in the collision but, thankfully, no severe injuries were reported.

The mishap occurred when his car was rear-ended by an Artica while maneuvering to overtake another vehicle on BD Marg in Delhi. Hemant Godse has a political history, previously being associated with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena before joining Shiv Sena. He currently holds the Nashik constituency seat in the Lok Sabha.
